The Event Organization Committee of the Vihara is planning to have a grand New Year festival on Sunday, April 15th.  It begins at 8:30 a.m. with the auspicious ritual of boiling milk. The program includes:

Children’s dramas and performances
     
Traditional adult dances
     
Outdoor sports

Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all participants.

The followings sale events will also be held on the same day:

Traditional Avurudu and exotic food sale
Lunch packets sale
Plant sale

Traditional Avurudu food sale will also be held on Sunday, April 8.

Funds raised through these sales will be used to construct an arch (Thorana) at the main entrance of the Vihara.
